Our government can manage to establish that all television broadcasts need to be transmitted in digital, they can rule that phone companies have to allow users to carry over their phone numbers, yet when it comes to regulating carbon emissions they seize up like the talons of an owl who got zapped while perched on the power lines. Progress, progress, ... wait, hold on a second.
Whiles all the shit goes down at least our children will be able to watch it in HD. They can text OMG back and forth to one another as they curse the generations who came before them. A country that claims it is trying to spread democracy in the middle east by starting wars but who panics when a country there actually tries to claim democracy for themselves.
