Please Don't Pick Your Nose Before Making My Pizza!

i have gone to a whole slew of movies in the past few weeks... resulting in much enjoyment and little money left in the entertainment account. It's going to be a tough Christmas for the local strippers. Sorry. Damn interesting movies coming out.

i will give a quick rundown of the movies (all of which i enjoyed... terrific) and why you might want to go see them.

INTO THE WILD: You know the ending, it's how you get there that makes this a good movie. Everyone has something to teach and everyone has something to learn. That and watch out for water.

3-D THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS: A classic, re-released in theaters, and you get to keep the 3-D glasses (which unfortunately are no longer blue and red). The only thing better than the 3-D-ness is the thought that George Lucas is planning on doing the same 3-D thing to Star Wars movies. They will have to give out both glasses and diapers to that one.

THE DARJEELING LIMITED: i have messed up this name on more than one occasion but this is close enough. Natalie Portman was naked in the first act. i think there was a good movie after that, i do like Wes Anderson films and Adrien Brody is a good actor but little other than the first act has made it into my long-term memory. Was she wearing sox?

30 DAYS OF NIGHT: Vampires attacking during the month of no sunlight in northern Alaska? Why has this movie never been made before? Even better than i had expected, but i am a sucker (no pun intended... alright, maybe a little intended) for a vampire movie, especially around Halloween. My Dr Pepper exploded on my lap... let's see if that stops me from smuggling food into movies. i'll have to do a cost analysis on the money saved by smuggling food vs the cost of running another load of laundry. Damn carbonation.

They're Not Even Playing The Yankees... So Why?

Alright, well it seems most of you have been soiling yourselves contemplating the implications of global climate change as we have been enjoying this beautiful weather in the northeast, as have i. How can anyone deny it at this point? But i digress.

This week's survey pertains to me not sharing in the enjoyment of America's past-time. i am, however, bombarded by Red Sox enthusiasm on a daily basis. As always, survey is to the left, y'all.
