The recent political turn of events have actually helped me understand quite a few things. Some puzzle pieces of recent history have fallen into place.
i had quite a problem rectifying how the boomers could go from hippies to yuppies to republican without even a stutter step. McCain's choice of Palin has completely straightened me out. Thank's John, and thank you SP.
i've realized that they were all just self-centered the whole time. In their youth they wanted to get fucked up and fuck so they created the drug culture and "free love". Once mommy and daddy weren't paying for everything and they had to graduate college they wanted to be paid more than anyone else... and yuppies were created.
Having a lack of morals and a plethora of greed was not enough. They wanted an ever increasing amount of money and it's resulting power. The only option was to get into politics so that they could change the rules to help them make more money.
Wow, have things worked out for those greedy fucks. And at all of our expense that is.
They pegged Hillary as an unqualified, emotional female not worthy of the White House. Now they want the female vote and pick the ludicrously unqualified twat Palin.
With a pregnant teen you'd think that there would be support for choice. But no. Others aren't allowed to make decisions that may differ from hers. With a new child who has unique health concerns you would think that there would be support for health care for all those who live with health concerns. But no.
White men control the party and then find a female who's fine with that to help them try to lure in a minority group's vote. They are not looking for a betterment of all in our society. They are not looking to close the gap between male and female pay discrepancies. They are using some idiotic toadie who's so self center she doesn't even realize the extent to which she is being used.
Fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all. If i have to listen to another Beatles or Who song i'm going to light my earwax on fire. That generation has done so much to screw us all over and they just keep blaring their tired old pop music... in movies, on tv, EVERYWHERE! How long will we continue to be tortured by this "all about me" generation?
