i have been mulling this over for some time now and keep going back and forth about it. i have eliminated my third choice but keep flip-flopping between these two. i would appreciate your feed-back.
One is a photo-realistic, black and gray bearing (what goes into the wheel to make it spin). My reason for this is that most of my tattoos are somewhat cryptic. You need to know what it is to get it and i like that. Those who know, know. The other reason for this is that this piece is what gives skateboarding its' 'sound'. That distinct whirling of a skateboard rolling by. That sound warms my heart.
The second is a simple, all black silhouette of me skateboarding. This would fit nicely with my other silhouette type icons tattoos and it would be drawn by me, as all of my others are. The bearing would be based on a picture rather than my drawings. i also would include a single pin-stripe to represent the ground and that could encircle most of the way around my arm.
It's tough... i may end up getting both eventually but which should i go with presently?
