It is a Holiday Weekend after all, even if it is the celebration of discovering something that was already discovered, or the celebration of the beginning of the extermination of native cultures.
Maybe we should rename Columbus Day to keep up with the times. Let's call it National Asshole Day. Find stuff that already exists and claim theories that people already believe. i think politicians would love that holiday.
