i went searching around other blogs just hoping to find nothing in particular but something interesting. Indeed i did. From my profile i clicked on key words like "Fight Club", "Boondock Saints", or even "The Tain". Each led to a series of blogs by people who also listed the selected item in their own lists.
No matter what i selected from my list of favorite things i always stumbled upon a common denominator. Each blog i came upon had some reference to Kerouac within the last five entries. Many of them actually had his list of guidelines for writing (you are a genius all of the time).
It was amazing! Not only has someone who did most of his writing half a century ago still relevant for so many, but all of the interests that i shared with these people kept bringing me back to Kerouac.
What a small world this truly is...
